HEFCU 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament raises 12,000 for charities
(July 20, 2015) — Halliburton Employees’ Federal Credit Union held its 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, on June 29, at The Territory Golf and Country Club, located in Duncan, OK. The event was originally scheduled for May 18, but due to high amounts of rainfall had to be postponed.
The delay did not prevent the registered golfers from braving the 95 plus degree heat to support the charities that would benefit from the outing. 21 teams totaling 84 golfers, plus additional sponsors came together to raise 12,000 for Relay for Life United Way of Stephens County, and Children’s Miracle Network of Oklahoma.
“We are excited to have everyone come out and help support our community through our golf tournament,” stated Chris Bower, President/CEO of HEFCU. “Without everyone’s support the tournament would not be possible and we are proud to work with The Territory and the staff there to make this event happen.”
Flight winners of the tournament were:
First place – First Oklahoma Federal Credit Union, team members; Anderson Berryhill, William McLane, Larry Coulson, and Mark Colley.
Fifth Place – Diffee Ford Lincoln Mercury, team members; Court Diffee, Jacky Parish, Bob Denton and Steve Hulsey
