Help Genisys Collect School Supplies at Renaissance Festival

AUBURN HILLS, MI (August 28, 2013) Genisys Credit Union, which provides services to anyone who lives or works in the Lower Peninsula, will “Stuff-a-Bus” and collect school supplies to benefit Lighthouse of Oakland County at The Michigan Renaissance Festival on Sept. 7 & 8.

Students from Notre Dame Prep High School will be collecting the school supplies, and Lighthouse will handle distribution of supplies to children across Oakland County who otherwise would not have access to them. The Renaissance Festival is happy to support this cause by offering $5 off an adult ticket and a free children’s ticket with each donation!

“Since this is being coordinated by Notre Dame Prep Students, the event is a great example of kids helping kids,” said Jackie Buchanan, President/CEO. “And we appreciate the support from the Michigan Renaissance Festival for offering the discounted tickets to adults, and free tickets for children with each donation.”

The Renaissance Festival is located at 12500 Dixie Highway in Holly. For more information about the festival visit www.michrenfest.com.
