Heritage Federal Credit Union announces new chief risk officer
NEWBURGH, IN (May 16, 2018) — Heritage Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Tony Aylsworth has been selected as the new Chief Risk Officer.
Mr. Aylsworth has over 23 years of financial institution experience and comes to the credit union most recently serving as the Director of Regulatory Risk Management at a local financial institution. At other financial institutions, he held multiple positions including Compliance Manager, Bank Secrecy Act Officer, and Director of Compliance. Some of his previous roles include Trust Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and President of a local financial institution, as well as owning his own general practice law office at Aylsworth Law Office.
In his new position as Heritage Federal Credit Union Chief Risk Officer, Mr. Aylsworth will lead the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Department, which besides oversight of the risk management programs, will be responsible for Vendor Management and Contracts, Business Continuity, Audit, Security, Compliance, Facilities, Insurance, Legal Affairs, Policy Review, and Loan Review.
Mr. Aylsworth holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Louisville School of Law in Louisville, KY, a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, IN, and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado at Boulder in Boulder, CO. Mr. Aylsworth serves as a board member on the Warrick County Economic Development Advisory Council/Warrick County Redevelopment Commission and is also a board member on the Dick and Louise Johnson Charitable Foundation in Boonville, IN.
