John Doulgeris joins Pennsylvania Credit Union Association

HARRISBURG, PA (July 21, 2015) — John Doulgeris recently joined the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA) as Senior Vice President of Operations. He comes to PCUA with more than five years of banking and finance experience, 20 years of experience as a successful business owner, and seven years of senior executive association leadership.

Doulgeris’ primary responsibilities will include oversight of information technology, facilities management, building security, and internal policies and procedures. Most recently Doulgeris was COO for the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association (PRLA).

Prior to joining PRLA, Doulgeris spent 23 years as a successful restaurant owner along with his wife Kathy. Prior to that, he held auditing positions including head internal auditor in the banking industry. Doulgeris earned his Bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Slippery Rock University.

Doulgeris was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He now resides in Carlisle and has two grown children, Christopher and Stephanie. When not working, he enjoys playing tennis, tai chi, and playing the piano.
