Josh Wooley announced as president and chief executive officer at Missouri Central Credit Union
LEE’S SUMMIT, MISSOURI (September 15, 2021) — Missouri Central Credit Union is pleased to announce that Josh Wooley has been selected as the next President and Chief Executive Officer of the credit union. Mr. Wooley is replacing Ms. Glenna Jarvis, who led the credit union for over 30 years and retired earlier this year.
“We are very excited to bring Josh on as our new CEO. He has great experience and will be a great asset to the credit union. We are sad that Glenna is gone, but we believe that the credit union will continue to grow under Josh’s leadership. We wish Glenna a happy and healthy retirement, and she will be dearly missed by all of us on the Board and within the credit union,” said Sam Voyles, Chairperson of the Board, when asked for a comment about the new hire.
Mr. Wooley first found his home in credit unions starting in 2009, after 6 years of managing mortgage sales teams in the banking and finance industry. Most recently, he spent 9 years leading the Retail Delivery teams at Mazuma Credit Union, including their 11 branch locations, Call Center, Direct Lending, Electronic branch, and Operations teams. Wooley has a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Bethel University and a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Josh is currently enrolled in CUNA Management School.
Wooley is very involved with his community, and in his free time, he loves spending time with his family, reading, playing complicated board games with his close friends, and can be regularly found playing guitar or singing rock music in live music venues throughout the Kansas City area with his local band Altered Ego KC.
