July 2019 NEFCU Shred Fest™ destroys 22,000 pounds of paper, 212 hard drives

WILLISTON, VT (July 16, 2019) — New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) Shred Fests™ are held each year to help people protect themselves against identity theft by destroying documents containing sensitive financial information. All Shred Fests™ are free and open to the public.

In this year’s NEFCU summer Shred Fest™ on Saturday, July 13th, more than 22,000 pounds of paper were shredded by SecurShred, a local information security company. In addition, 212 hard drives were destroyed.
