Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is pleased to announce that team member Ashely DeYoung has been promoted to a mortgage loan originator position.
DeYoung has been with the LMCU mortgage team for over five years. She began as a mortgage setup specialist, moved on to become a senior mortgage processor, mortgage loan officer assistant, and will now fulfill the role of mortgage loan originator at LMCU’s Lowell, Michigan branch.
DeYoung is excited about the new relationships she expects to formin the Lowell and greater Lansing areas. Looking forward, DeYoung wants to positively impact the families she works with.“I have solid knowledge and experience in both processing and sales, and I hope to share some of that with borrowers and agents to create a smooth and seamless mortgage process,” said DeYoung.
LMCU Vice President of Regional Retail Mortgage Production, Michael Thomas, is looking forwardto DeYoung stepping into this new role. “Ashley has been a valuable member of our mortgage team for several years now, and I’m looking forward to seeing what she’ll accomplish as she takes on this new position,” said Thomas.
