WOODBRIDGE, VA (June 29, 2015) — COMPASS 4 CUs internally promoted Laura Briggs to Marketing Manager/Compliance Specialist. Previously, Laura had been working as a Marketing Specialist for Belvoir Federal Credit Union, while simultaneously managing marketing efforts part-time for COMPASS.

Laura, a graduate of Saint Mary’s University (BA) and The George Washington University (MA), brings 5 years of credit union branch operations experience and nearly 6 years of marketing experience to her new role. “My position is unique in that it affords me the opportunity to build on my interest in credit union compliance while still having an outlet for creativity in the form of marketing and design,” she stated. “Compliance doesn’t have to be boring or feared; in fact, COMPASS’ mission to make compliance fun, while still being cost-effective and preventative for credit union clients, is one of the many reasons I am thrilled to accept this position.”
