League InfoSight Owners and CrossState Credit Union Association collaborate to enhance member experience

Offer Trusted Contact Resources in InfoSight and CU PolicyPro

LANSING, MI (July 24, 2023) — League InfoSight owners have collaborated with the CrossState Credit Union Association to provide valuable tools and resources to member credit unions to assist in the implementation of a Trusted Contact program. Multiple agencies, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), have encouraged credit unions to permit members to add a Trusted Contact Person to their account as another line of defense against financial fraud. To aid credit unions, specific resources developed include:

  • Trusted Contact Information and Authorization Form
  • Model policy
  • Model procedures,
  • Model script, and
  • Frequently asked questions.

These resources will continue to evolve and are available to credit unions through InfoSight and CU PolicyPro, as a member benefit.

“Our League InfoSight owners truly believe in our collaborative model and are always generous with their time and resources to make sure credit unions have access to timely and relevant resources to navigate operational risk. This is just one example of how League InfoSight, its owners, and partners all truly live the mission to empower credit unions,” said Glory LeDu, CEO of League InfoSight.

“Focused on helping credit unions protect their older members as elder financial abuse surges, CrossState Credit Union Association is excited to share its new Trusted Contact solution,” explained Patrick Conway, CrossState President & CEO. “Making these resources available to other leagues and associations through League InfoSight underscores the league system’s collaborative philosophy in delivering innovative solutions to help serve members.”

Member credit unions can access InfoSight through their League/Association website or through the League InfoSight website. Credit unions can also access these resources through CU PolicyPro, a full policy management system.
