Leominster Credit Union presents Leominster Mayor Dean J. Mazzarella with a check for $1,000 for the Mayor’s Fuel Assistance Program

LEOMINSTER, MA (January 22, 2015) — John O’Brien, President and CEO of Leominster Credit Union presented Leominster Mayor Dea­n J. Mazzarella with a check for $1,000 for the Mayor’s Fuel Assistance Program.

“This year in addition to addressing fuel assistance we are also assisting with the rising cost of electricity. For many of our elderly residents electricity is their main source of home heating. This contribution will help fill the many requests we are receiving this year,” stated Mayor Mazzarella.

“LCU is proud to support to the Mayor’s Fuel Assistance Program. Many of our neighbors struggle to heat their homes, and we are pleased to know that those less fortunate will receive some assistance,” commented John O’Brien.
