Local credit union branches acquired
Bragg Mutual Welcomes PACU Members in Southeastern, N.C.
Bragg Mutual Federal Credit Union, one of North Carolina’s fastest growing credit unions, announced it will be acquiring the member relationships at the Fayetteville and Kenansville branches of Piedmont Advantage Credit Union effective July 1st. The branch acquisitions were voted and approved by PACU members who reside in the region.
“We thank the members who voted overwhelmingly to join the Bragg Mutual family,” said Bragg Mutual President and CEO Steve Foley. “We are excited to not just serve our existing members in Fayetteville and Kenansville but to expand our industry-leading services, honest advice, and cost-saving solutions to a larger membership group.”
The former PACU branch in Kenansville becomes Bragg Mutual’s fifth branch. Since 2018, the credit union has grown in assets by over 46%.
“Kenansville residents already make a sizeable portion of our membership, and we look forward to improving their experience with the addition of the Kenansville branch to our footprint,” Foley said. “We know our new members will be excited that their community branch and team are ready to serve them today, tomorrow, and many years in the future.”
