Long time Forsyth County Employee’s Credit Union Manager/CEO Susan Peddle announces retirement

GREENSBORO, NC (January 13, 2014) — Summit Credit Union announced today that Manager/CEO Susan Peddle will retire at the end of January after 31 years of service with the Credit Union.

Peddle joined the Credit Union in October of 1983. She served at President/CEO of Forsyth County Employee’s Credit Union from 2000 until its merger with Summit Credit Union in November of 2008 when she became the acting Manager/CEO.
“I am fortunate to have worked at Forsyth County Employee’s Credit Union for so long and later working with such dynamic and talented people at Summit Credit Union as an affiliate. I will miss everyone dearly but most of all I will miss the members I’ve grown to know.” Peddle said.
Peddle’s relationship with Forsyth County dates back to her employment with the county from June of 1974 to June of 1981. It was only natural she continued her career by serving county employees through the Credit Union.
Forsyth County Employee’s Credit Union is an affiliate of Summit Credit Union serving employees of Forsyth County. The Credit Union positions itself as an employee benefit serving over 180 employers in North Carolina. Summit has over 25,000 members and operates branch offices in Greensboro, Winston- Salem, Raleigh, and Hickory.
