LSCU & Affiliates moves Tallahassee office

BIRMINGHAM, AL & TALLAHASSEE, FL (December 16, 2013) —  The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU) has moved its Tallahassee offices across town. The LSCU moved to the “Credit Union Center” which currently houses Corporate One and Member Business Solutions. The move will greatly upgrade the Tallahassee facilities while also providing a better working space for staff.

“Once we sell our existing property in Tallahassee, we will see significant savings,” said LSCU & Affiliates President/CEO Patrick La Pine. “We signed a new lease for our Birmingham office that downsizes our existing space and provides a better rate. These two moves will show about $2 million in savings over seven years.”

The Birmingham office will also see lease-holder improvements by the end of the first quarter of 2014. The savings from the facility moves and upgrades will help in the long-term sustainability of the LSCU. It also shows member credit unions that the League is constantly looking for ways to streamline the budget and its use of facilities.
