Mahalo Banking to showcase neurodiversity technology at CUNA Operations & Member Experience Council and Technology Council Conference

TROY, MI (October 4, 2023)WHAT: Mahalo Banking, a CUSO that provides online and mobile banking solutions for credit unions, will be participating in the 2023 Vendor Speed Rounds during the CUNA Operations & Member Experience Council and Technology Council Conference. During this demonstration, Mahalo will showcase its Thoughtful BankingÔ technology, engineered to cater to members with neurodiverse abilities and cognitive distinctions such as dyslexia, autism, ADD, ADHD, epilepsy, visual sensitivity, ASD and more.

The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Speed Rounds are fast-paced, high-impact, product demonstrations. Credit union audience members will receive 5-minute exhibitions from up to 22 organizations and can ask questions of the presenters.

WHO:   The presentation will be led by Denny Howell, co-founder and COO, Mahalo Banking.

WHY:  Mahalo Banking recently launched its next-generation platform, redesigned to deliver humanized digital banking capabilities that cater to the neurodiversity of members. Approximately 15-20% of the world’s population lives with some form of a neurodiverse condition (i.e., autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, etc.) according to the National Library of Medicine. A significant segment of the global population also experiences disabilities such as color blindness (300 million), visual impairments (2.2 billion) and epilepsy (50 million).

Failure to incorporate neurodiverse-accommodating features into mobile applications often leads to inconsistent digital experiences for these members. Mahalo’s reimagined platform eliminates any potential barriers to a pleasant digital banking experience due to a member’s physical or neurological conditions. The technology is engineered to improve digital inclusivity and accessibility and better meet the cognitive needs of all credit union members.

WHERE:  The CUNA Operations & Member Experience Council and Technology Council Conference will take place from Oct. 4 to 7, 2023. Mahalo Banking will present on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 9:00 a.m. EST at The Gaylord Rockies in Aurora, Col.
