Master business guru John Spence returns for NAFCU’s 2014 Management and Leadership Institute

WASHINGTON, DC (May 1, 2014) — Master business guru John Spence is back by popular demand to present his full-day workshop, “The Leader of the Future,” for emerging credit union leaders at the National Association of Federal Credit Union’s (NAFCU2014 Management and Leadership Institute (MLI). The conference takes place Oct. 6-10 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in Philadelphia.

“John Spence knows what it takes to become an outstanding leader,” said Anthony Demangone, NAFCU’s EVP/COO, and MLI faculty member. “John will help attendees learn the critical leadership skills they need to take their game to the next level.”

Spence is a highly regarded executive educator and professional speaker in America and has been recognized three times by Trust Across America as one of the Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behavior. During his workshop, attendees will learn how to create and implement an effective personal leadership development action plan. Spence is also the author of several books, including “Excellence by Design – The Six Key Characteristics of Outstanding Leaders.”  Each MLI attendee will receive a free, signed copy of the book.

In addition to Spence, Demangone will speak about how to manage compliance risk. NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger will also address the conference.
