Matt Lubick joins Canvas Credit Union family

DENVER, CO (January 8, 2019) — Lone Tree, CO Canvas Credit Union announced today that Matt Lubick, former football coach, has joined their family as Director of University Relations. Lubick’s impressive coaching career started in 1995 at Colorado State University when he was the student assistant coach and academic supervisor under his father, Sonny Lubick. He also coached at Cal State-Northridge, San Jose State, Oregon State, Ole Miss, Duke, Oregon and most recently at Washington. He has been honored with several awards including being one of three finalists for the American Football Coaches Associations’ Assistant Coach of the Year in 2012 and, that same year, he was footballscoop.com’s wide receivers coach of the year.

In April of 2018, Canvas Credit Union became the official credit union of Colorado State University and named Canvas Stadium. “The partnership presents an opportunity for our two organizations, who are aligned in values and share a passion for Colorado, to help Rams succeed both today and tomorrow,” said Canvas Credit Union President/CEO, Todd Marksberry. “This partnership ensures that Canvas will help the more than 33,000 CSU students, nearly 1,500 academic faculty, over 4,300 administrative staff along with the nearly 57,000 CSU alumni in the Denver metro area afford life and simultaneously create positive change for our entire membership. Matt Lubick will office on the CSU campus starting in February. Sonny Lubick, Matt’s father is also a member of the Canvas family as the Vice President of Community Outreach.
