Mayahi joins SWBC

SAN ANTONIO, TX (November 15, 2019) — SWBC is pleased to announce that Ali Mayahi has joined The Financial Institution Group as Vice President of Payment Operations. In this role, Mayahi will oversee the payment customer support and success by establishing and implementing key operational activities for Software as a Service (SaaS) Payments solution. He will refine client-level SLAs, identify and define new methods of assessing operational effectiveness, and work with cross-functional teams to deploy enhanced modified services.

Prior to joining SWBC, Mayahi worked for Citi as Senior Group Manager for the Global Third-Party Risk Management team. He brings over 25 years of experience in various global business and technology transformation programs. He is an innovative and motivated leader with demonstrated success in operational risks and establishing controls, with a focus on maximizing efficiencies while minimizing the negative impact on businesses. He has background in change management, risk management, process improvements (lean Six Sigma), project management, and strategic planning.

Mayahi holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering from Oxford Brookes University and a Master of Science in Computer Modeling & Simulation from The University of Sunderland. In addition, he holds a certification in Project Management from The George Washington University.
