MemberTree Consultancy Launches Community Challenge Program
Company helps credit unions develop individually branded marketing campaigns
FARGO, ND – MemberTree Consultancy, a credit union-focused marketing company, has launched its Community Challenge program aimed at helping credit unions save members interest expense, while helping their communities. This two-fold marketing campaign is now available for credit unions throughout the country to purchase as an individually branded campaign.
Credit unions who engage with MemberTree for the Community Challenge will encourage their community to save a designated amount in loan interest within a certain timeframe. Community members save money when they refinance a loan with the participating credit union. After the savings goal is reached, the credit union donates a lump sum to chosen local charities.
“The mission of the Community Challenge is to help consumers plan for their financial security. We want to help everyone save money and reduce their debt by shortening debt duration and improving cash flow,” Dan Altenbernd, MemberTree COO, said.
Interested credit unions will be taken through MemberTree’s step-by-step process and can expect to launch their own campaign within 30 to 45 days. MemberTree allows credit unions to choose which campaign materials they would like created and can provide media recommendations, analysis and placement if requested.
“Being able to utilize materials and brand them as your own not only saves money, but also time. The core benefit of using our materials is not only the tactical development, but the process and program has already been proven a success. Credit unions are getting involved in a program that has the results to back it up, and a community of credit union contacts they can communicate with for support,” Altenbernd said.
The Community Challenge was originally created when MemberTree’s client, United Teletech Financial (UTF), was searching for a unique community involvement program. Since the inception, two other credit unions have utilized MemberTree’s services to run their own Community Challenge.
“The Million Dollar Community Challenge campaign really solidified our United Teletech Financial brand in the community by partnering with local charities. It was also very well received by the employees. We did our Million Dollar Community Challenge campaign for three months but even outside the three month campaign, we saw an increase in business just because of the attention and visibility we received from the campaign.
