Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union announces selection of new executive vice president
PLANO, TX (June 15, 2018) — Bryan Thomas has been named as Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union’s new executive vice president, effective July 9, 2018. Credit Union Resources, Inc. conducted the executive search for the $355 million dollar credit union, based in Cheyenne, Wyo.
Previously the vice president/chief lending officer at Coors Credit Union in Golden, Colo., Thomas assisted with the overall company strategy and was responsible for managing lending operations and retail, call center, and collection activities. During his leadership at the credit union, he increased year-over-year loan growth to 20 percent.
Prior to working at Coors, Thomas was the vice president/chief administration officer at WyHy Federal Credit Union in Cheyenne, where he was responsible for managing retail branches, marketing and business development efforts, lending operations, and collection activities.
With more than 23 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry, Thomas will help Meridian Trust continue to offer the best in personal service and the highest-quality financial products at the lowest possible cost. Thomas is recognized in the industry for leading highly productive management teams and achieving strategic goals.
Thomas received a Bachelor of Science with emphasis in consumer science and business management from Colorado State University. He is also a graduate of CUNA Finance School and the CUES CEO Institute.
