Mills42 Federal Credit Union provides holiday gifts through its partnership with The Salvation Army

LOWELL, MA (December 17, 2021) — The Mills42 FCU team & members came together to ensure local children get their wish lists fulfilled this holiday season. The Salvation Army’s annual Angel Tree program works with local families to provide gifts and necessities for the holidays.

The Salvation Army of Lowell service an average of 600 families each year for holiday assistance. Mills42 members, staff & directors were able to select anonymous children to support. Wish list items ranged from winter jackets, to shoes, to toys & games. Mills42 was able to fulfill 25 children’s wishes this holiday season.

“It’s great to see our Credit Union come together to support our local community members in need; if that isn’t ‘people helping people’, I don’t know what is!” states CEO, Derek Cronin. “The Salvation Army does an excellent job assisting local families and we were thrilled to support the program.”
