WASHINGTON – Business authors John Spence and Brett King will offer fresh perspectives and actionable insight that will help credit union executives cultivate success at the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) CEOs and Senior Executives Conference, April 18-20, at Westin Key West Resort and Marina in Key West, Fla.

The deadline for early registration savings is Feb. 17.  NAFCU members and non-members are welcome.

John Spence, executive educator and author of Awesomely Simple – Essential Business Strategies for Turning Ideas Into Action, will outline how attendees can build and sustain highly successful credit unions. At 28, Spence was nominated as one of Florida’s top CEOs under 40 for his leadership of an international Rockefeller foundation, where he oversaw projects in 20 countries and reported directly to Chairman of the Board Winthrop P. Rockefeller. For the past 17 years, he has presented workshops, speeches and executive coaching to more than 300 organizations. In 2011, he was named one of the top 100 Business Thought Leaders in America and became Director of Best Practice Innovation at the Best Practice Institute.

Brett King is the best-selling author of the groundbreaking book Bank 2.0: How Customer Behavior and Technology Will Change the Future of Financial Services. He will illustrate the massive shift in the way credit unions do business as consumers increasingly turn to the Internet, smartphones, mobile payments, social media and social networking for their banking needs. King is a strategic advisor to the global financial services industry, as well as founder and chairman of Movenbank, the first direct mobile bank in the U.S. and U.K.

Conference attendees will receive copies of Awesomely Simple and Bank 2.0. Spence and King will be available for book signings following their sessions.

The conference offers credit union CEOs, presidents and senior executives invaluable networking opportunities and interactive sessions addressing issues of vital importance to credit union leaders, including the current state of the industry, legislative and regulatory issues impacting credit unions, and more.
