WASHINGTON – The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) this week kicked off its “Web Hunt” and “Facebook Challenge,” two online events giving prospective attendees of its annual conference an opportunity to earn a valuable registration discount as well as multiple chances to win $100 Discover gift cards.

Interested individuals will earn a $100 discount on the current annual conference registration price by visiting www.nafcu.org/annualwebhunt and answering five trivia questions relating to NAFCU’s 44th Annual Conference & Exhibition. Participation in the Web Hunt will also make entrants eligible to win a $100 Discover gift card. Deadline to participate is June 10; the grand prize drawing will take place the following day.

In addition, NAFCU will give away four $100 Discover gift cards through its Facebook Challenge, which runs through the week of June 6. Facebook users are encouraged to “like” NAFCU’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/nafcu) and watch for opportunities on how to be entered into random drawings to win. All prizes were sponsored by NAFCU Services Preferred Partner Discover Financial Services.

The conference will be held at the Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco, June 28 – July 2. It boasts five educational tracks, including Board & Supervisory Committee, Executive, Management & Operations, Regulatory & Finance, and Growth & Lending. One of the conference highlights is the NAFCU Defense Credit Union Summit featuring keynote luncheon speaker Holly Petraeus of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Office of Servicemember Affairs.
