NAFCU testimony to Congress

WASHINGTON, DC (March 16, 2017) — Ken Krueger, CEO of Lutheran Federal Credit Union in St. Louis, Mo., will testify on behalf of NAFCU Wednesday before a House Financial Services Subcommittee on the process for chartering a new financial institution.

Wednesday, March 15, 2:00 p.m. – House Financial Services Committee Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit 

Krueger will discuss the process his credit union went through when it applied for a charter from the NCUA in 2013 and was approved in December 2014. He will also discuss the current regulatory burden faced by today’s credit unions, the Federal Credit Union Act and governance modernization.
