NAFCU testimony to Congress March 15
WASHINGTON, DC (March 13, 2017) — Ken Krueger, CEO of Lutheran Federal Credit Union in St. Louis, Mo., will testify on behalf of the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) Wednesday before a House Financial Services subcommittee regarding the process for chartering a new financial institution.
Wednesday, March 15, 2 p.m. Eastern – House Financial Services Committee Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit
Krueger will discuss the process his credit union went through to get a charter from the NCUA; application was made in 2013 and approved in December 2014. He will also discuss the current regulatory burden faced by today’s credit unions; the Federal Credit Union Act; and governance modernization.
