NAFCU’s 2015 Annual Awards competition opens

WASHINGTON, DC (January 12, 2015) — The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) has opened its 2015 Annual Awards Competition, which recognizes association member credit unions and individuals whose hard work personifies the dedication they have for the credit union industry, their credit union and community.

March 13 is the deadline for entries. Winners will be recognized during NAFCU’s 48th Annual Conference and Solutions Expo in Montreal, June 23-26.

“We know our member credit unions’ staff work extremely hard, and we encourage them to submit their accomplishments for this year’s competition,” said NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger. “Not only will the winners be honored, but others will have the opportunity to learn from the many successes of these credit unions and individuals.”

This year’s competition will honor the Federal Credit Union of the Year, CEO of the Year, Professional of the Year and Volunteer of the Year in each of two asset-size categories: $250 million or less, and more than $250 million. Each award application must include information on 2014 accomplishments.

The competition is only open to NAFCU members as part of their exclusive member benefits, and participation is free. Winners will be selected by the NAFCU Awards Committee.
