NAFCU’s Berger and Thaler named Top Lobbyists by The Hill

WASHINGTON, DC (October 30, 2013) — The Hill, one of Capitol Hill’s premier political publications, recognized Dan Berger, NAFCU president and CEO, and Brad Thaler, NAFCU vice president of legislative affairs, as top association lobbyists for 2013. This is the eleventh year that Berger has been named to the list, and the sixth year for Thaler.

“Though it is nice to be recognized again as one of the top lobbyists in Washington, the credit and honor goes to the entire NAFCU legislative affairs team, who put in a lot of long hours and late nights on Capitol Hill,” said Berger. “Brad and I both appreciate the acknowledgement, and this renews our vigor to continue advocating for credit unions with members of Congress and the administration.”

According to The Hill’s article, “Berger, who went from the group’s top lobbyist to its leader earlier this year, is working with Thaler to ensure credit unions get a fair shake in new mortgage regulations.”
