NAFCU’s Berger and Thaler named top lobbyists for 2016 by The Hill

National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) President and CEO Dan Berger and Vice President of Legislative Affairs Brad Thaler were recognized by The Hill, one of Capitol Hill’s leading political publications, as top association lobbyists for 2016. This is the 14th consecutive year that Berger has been named to the list and the ninth year for Thaler.

“This recognition is a testament to the commitment and steadfast work of our entire government affairs team on Capitol Hill and with the administration and regulatory agencies,” said Berger. “Moreover, it is a credit to our politically active members, who strengthen NAFCU’s legislative and regulatory efforts with their grassroots activities.”

According to The Hill’s article, Berger and Thaler “have made headway in convincing Congress that credit unions need breathing room under the new Dodd-Frank rules.”
