NCR Atleos to focus on expanding access to financial services at ATMIA event

SIOUX FALLS, SD (February 7, 2024)NCR Atleos will participate in this year’s ATMIA Conference happening February 14-16 in Las Vegas. This year marks the 25th annual ATMIA Conference.

Key Focus

NCR Atleos’ key focus at the event will be on how it creates exceptional self-service banking experiences at the bank branch and beyond. NCR Atleos optimizes the branch, delivers operational efficiency, maximizes availability and expands access to financial services. As a result, financial institutions can deliver a great banking experience for their own customers anywhere, anytime they need it. Specifically, NCR Atleos delivers value to its customers with its industry-leading technology, expertise and experience, unmatched scale with its own ATM network, unrivaled global services, and constant pursuit of innovation to expand access to financial services.

Speaking Engagements

Chief Operating Officer Stuart Mackinnon will host a presentation that explores a vision for the next 25 years of financial self-service, examining how the ATM has become the critical counterpart to digital finance and how ATMs will serve as the critical link between digital finance and the physical world in the future, powering a transformation of the branch, banking and consumer finance. Stuart will examine consumers’ need for cash and its intersection with digital money, new technologies that heighten consumer experiences, and how innovations in AI and frictionless finance will impact banking and the ATM industry.

Vice President Ben Bregman’s session will provide an overview of what is happening in the ATM landscape in the U.S., as it is shifting towards a utility model.

Innovation Lab

NCR Atleos will feature an innovation lab in its booth including demonstrations and discussions about how banking will change, and how financial institutions interact with customers will change. This may be because the customer wants to interact in a different way, or it may be that the financial institutions want to drive a different model of interaction to improve operational efficiency. Specific examples of concepts that will be discussed in the innovation lab include environmental impact of materials used and power consumed in ATMs, using consumer mobile devices as the interface for ATMs, and large screen-only ATM form factors.
