NCUA Home Mortgage Disclosure Act Webinar Now Available Online

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Feb. 28, 2013) – The National Credit Union Administration’s (NCUA) recent webinar about the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and Loan Application Registers (LARs) is now available online, the agency announced today.

During the webinar, entitled “HMDA: Accuracy and Timeliness,” staff from NCUA’s Office of Consumer Protection, the Federal Reserve Board and other federal financial regulators:

  • Addressed common errors identified in HMDA LAR data and submissions;
  • Provided tips for preparing and submitting accurate and timely HMDA LARs; and
  • Discussed financial institution management responsibilities in the HMDA process.

More than 1,300 participants joined the 90-minute webinar. The webinar’s audio, presentation slides, written transcript and additional questions and answers are now publicly available on NCUA’s website at http://www.ncua.gov/News/Videos/Pages/default.aspx.
