NEFCU announces 3rd quarter community giving donations for 2021

WILLISTON, VT (November 1, 2021) — Giving back to the communities it serves has long been central to New England Federal Credit Union’s (NEFCU) mission. As an ongoing part of this effort, four times each year, NEFCU selects recipient organizations at random to receive $625 each, for a total of $10,000 annually. NEFCU’s community giving donations for the third quarter of 2021 were:

Hope Grows Community Farm serves children and families by enriching their lives through healthy relationships, horsemanship, and equine-based psychotherapy. NEFCU’s donation will help support the Hope Grows Community Farm equine therapy programs.

Cathedral Square is a national leader in the creation of high-quality, affordable, service-enriched housing communities for older adults and people with special needs. NEFCU’s donation will be directed toward their therapeutic sensory garden at The Memory Care at Allen Brook.

MENTOR Vermont works to ensure that every young person in Vermont has the supportive mentoring relationships they need to grow and develop into thriving, productive, and engaged adults. NEFCU’s contribution will help fund the Vermont Mentoring Month in January 2022.
