New Jersey Credit Union Foundation to Hold 2nd Annual Silent Auction During New Jersey Credit Union League’s Convention

Credit Unions Encouraged to Donate Items

(August 27, 2013) — Last year’s Silent Auction was such a success, the New Jersey Credit Union Foundation is doing it again! The NJ CU Foundation will hold its Silent Auction during the New Jersey Credit Union League’s 79th Annual Meeting & Convention September 29 – October 1, 2013 at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, N.J.

Your credit union can participate by donating items with values of over $25.00 or by making a cash donation that the Foundation will use to purchase items on your behalf. Suggested items include: event tickets, gift certificates, gift baskets, sports-related items, electronics, etc.

There are also sponsorships available on three levels: Platinum ($1,000), Gold ($750), and Silver ($500). Each sponsor will have a premium item auctioned in their name and special event signage and sponsorship notation in the Foundation Newsletter and on the Foundation’s Web page.

The Foundation has set a goal of $25,000, which will help fund its various initiatives, including Financial Reality Fairs and its partnership with the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education (NJCFE).

Contributions to the Silent Auction are tax-deductible. Contributing credit unions will receive a letter of appreciation as well as recognition in the Foundation’s next newsletter and at the event.

The Silent Auction will take place during the NJ Credit Union Leagueʼs 79th Annual Meeting & Convention, September 29th – September 30th, at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ. Auction winners will be announced before the Exhibit Hall closing at 1 p.m. on September 30th.
