New website design firm brings ‘Uncommn’ website solutions

Uncommn specializes in web design and digital solutions for credit unions and community banks

GREENVILLE, S.C (August 1, 2017) — Unlike other website vendors, who provide cumbersome technology coupled with costly customer support, uncommn is turning the common frustration of web marketing into the “uncommn.” The new website design firm provides credit unions and community banks with easy to manage custom websites for thousands of dollars less than other companies, and in several weeks instead of several months – all while delivering exemplary service.

Uncommn Founder Bo McDonald, who has worked in credit union marketing for nearly a decade, said he could see the mounting frustration. Credit unions and community banks are sold exorbitant, complex technology that, when it fails, the finger points back to the client. Too often these companies don’t think in terms of what their customers really need or want. The result is awful service and complicated technology.

“Many community financial institutions feel handcuffed by their website,” McDonald explains. “You made a large investment and you want to see it pay off. You’re likely to stay in an undesirable relationship when you’re fully invested or you view other companies as lower or equal alternatives to your current situation. At uncommn, we are producing cutting-edge responsive websites that are affordable, easy to manage and humanize your brand in a way that deepens your connection with members, stakeholders and prospects.”

Already three credit unions have embraced the “uncommn” with new websites: Spartan Federal Credit UnionHopeSouth Credit Union and Hawaii First Federal Credit Union. Coded by Uncommn Web Developer Alex VanHaasteren, these websites are fully optimized, mobile ready and have an easy to navigate user interface.

According to Uncommn’s Digital Marketing Director Marne Franklin, community financial institutions should update their websites every three to five years.

“We are building a dynamic, new web design company that provides beautiful websites that connect credit unions and local banks to the people they serve,” Franklin said. “With uncommn, small- and mid-sized financial institutions can compete and stay up-to-date with what the large banks and online personal finance companies are doing.”
