Ongoing Operations CUSO Celebrates 5th Anniversary, Recognizes Founding Credit Unions

Hagerstown, MD (June 23, 2011) – Ongoing Operations, the leading business continuity CUSO, is celebrating its 5th anniversary this month. A special “Founders Luncheon” was held recently in conjunction with their annual meeting in Lansdowne, Virginia.

The purpose of this event was to recognize the credit unions that originally invested in the CUSO in 2005 and early 2006, during both its initial formation as a limited liability corporation and when full operations began.  Founding credit unions include: Agriculture Federal Credit Union, Department of Labor Federal Credit Union, HEW Federal Credit Union, Money One Federal Credit Union, NIH Federal Credit Union, Northwest Federal Credit Union, Quorum Federal Credit Union, Synergy One Federal Credit Union, Transportation Federal Credit Union and PSCU Financial Services.

The CUSO was established by a small group of credit union leaders in the Mid-Atlantic region but quickly grew to serve over 130 credit unions across the country and protect one-fifth of all industry assets.
