Ongoing Operations Launches New, Client-Driven Business Continuity Workshops
Hagerstown, MD – May 3, 2011 – Ongoing Operations, the leading business continuity CUSO serving credit unions nationwide, is introducing a brand new format for its regional business continuity events. The first of these new P3 (Plan, Prepare, Protect) Business Continuity Workshops is scheduled for June 1, 2011 and will be hosted by SAFE Credit Union in Sacramento, California.
“These new sessions will be much more interactive in nature and feature dynamic agendas that incorporate the best of our old Business Continuity Boot Camps along with the most pressing issues credit unions are facing today,” said Kirk Drake, CEO of Ongoing Operations.
Robin Remines, Business Continuity Professional for Ongoing Operations and former VP of IT at APG Federal Credit Union, has been working with several other industry leaders to develop the new P3 format. “It’s in credit unions’ nature to collaborate and share ideas. These new sessions will provide both the expert business continuity resources needed and an opportunity for participants to share best practices during and after the local events,” said Robin.
The new P3 Business Continuity Workshops will be open to all interested credit unions, not just current Ongoing Operations clients.
