OnPoint Community Credit Union launches new website in partnership with PixelSpoke
PORTLAND, OR (December 28, 2021) — OnPoint Community Credit Union and PixelSpoke are excited to announce the launch of OnPoint’s new website.
OnPoint has been improving the lives of its members and the communities it serves—including Portland, Vancouver, Eugene and Bend—for nearly 90 years. In that time, OnPoint has grown to be the largest member-owned financial institution headquartered in Oregon with more than 461,000 loyal members.
PixelSpoke is a Portland-based marketing agency and worker-owned cooperative that specializes in web redesigns for credit unions. PixelSpoke first redesigned OnPoint’s website in 2019 and has worked on an ongoing basis with the credit union as a digital marketing partner for the past three years.
The latest website redesign aimed to: 1) Update the look and feel to align with new branding elements, 2) Place relevant content at visitors’ fingertips by contextually embedding key tools, resources, and calls to action, and 3) Better optimize location pages on the heels of OnPoint’s massive expansion into Fred Meyer stores in 2021.
The new website reflects OnPoint’s more vibrant look and feel, with updated icons, fonts, and other visuals. Increased content density lends the site a greater sense of energy, and subtle animations on testimonials and call to action buttons further reinforce new branding elements.
The new website also includes added layout options to help make the content more accessible and scannable. Sidebars offer rates, calculators, blog posts, financial education tools, and other relevant callouts in context on product pages, drawing attention to the robust suite of tools and resources that OnPoint has to offer its members.
In 2021, OnPoint underwent the largest branch expansion in its history, reinforcing the credit union’s commitment to its members and the Northwest region. Its location pages have been reimagined to ensure that crucial information is presented upfront, while also leaving room to communicate the unique personality of each branch.
The website is built using flexible WordPress templates that empower the OnPoint marketing team to update rates, product pages, photos, community news, and other information as needed. Moving forward, OnPoint and PixelSpoke look forward to continuing their partnership to further evolve the website and better support the financial well-being of OnPoint members.
