– For the first time ever, the CUNA Operations, Sales & Service (OpSS) Council Conference & CUNA Technology Council Conference will be held at the same time and place: September 29 – October 2, 2010 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“It’s two amazing events in one amazing venue,” said Jennifer Lehn, chair of the CUNA OpSS Council and EVP, Numerica Credit Union in Spokane Valley, Wash. “Attendees of each conference can expect the same great event …but with added benefits, such as access to more sessions, vendors, and networking.”

All events are open to attendees of either conference. There are more than fifty sessions in all on topics such as:

  • Technology trends
  • IT risk management programs
  • Mobile platforms
  • Cloud computing.
  • Member retention
  • Fraud prevention
  • Enhancing credit unions’ bottom line
  • Call centers

“Having two conferences held side by side will give attendees even more takeaways and ‘bang for your buck,’ said Rudy Pereira, chair of the CUNA Technology Council and senior vice president of operations and technology for Alliant CU in Chicago. “For example, if there is a breakout session at the other conference that looks interesting, attendees can check it out. Also, they can network with CTOs or COOs from across the country and have access to a larger, combined welcome center to talk to more vendors from different disciplines.”
