Patelco Credit Union takes home two awards at the 2022 MAC Awards

Patelco Virtual Branch™ earns gold, and Member Quotes Campaign lands bronze accolades

DUBLIN, CA (July 12, 2022) — The Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) recently awarded  Patelco Credit Union, a Bay Area-based credit union dedicated to the financial wellness of its members and communities, two awards at the 2022 MAC Awards. The MAC Awards recognize outstanding credit union marketing achievements. The Patelco Virtual Branch™ was awarded gold in the product development category, and its Member Quotes Campaign landed a bronze award in the social media category.

Patelco’s Social Media Member Quotes Campaign reflects the diverse range of the credit union’s members and their impact on their lives. As an integral element of its social strategy, this ongoing campaign allows members to share their organic opinion with other members. It creates a space for engagement, and each new quote post generates future quotes for consideration. Quote selections are strategically prioritized based on Patelco’s in-market products. In 2021, each of Patelco’s Member Quotes received an average of 47 comments from actual members sharing their real stories delivering an engagement rate of 115% over its goals.
