PCUA welcomes Ken Dyer as SVP/CRO

HARRISBURG, PA (April 4, 2018) — After a thorough national search process, the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA) is pleased to announce its newest team member, Ken Dyer as Senior Vice President/Chief Revenue Officer. In his role, Dyer will be responsible for overseeing the activities of PCUA’s for-profit service corporation, PCUA Solutions.

Dyer, who has an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, comes to PCUA after spending four years as the President and CEO at Eastern Savings Bank, a $195 million community bank in Connecticut, and a decade in the same position at Liberty Bay Credit Union in Massachusetts. Ken has spent the last 30-plus years developing revenue streams and conducting product, service, and delivery channel analysis in various segments of the financial services industry.

A few examples of these accomplishments include expanding the credit union’s field of membership from 50,000 to potentially three million through a community charter, which increased their asset size to $700 million. He also prepared both Liberty Bay and Eastern Savings Bank for the future by implementing and leading strategic planning processes. Beyond setting up both organizations for success long term, Dyer also proved to be an innovator while at the credit union, creating a not-for-profit banking unit to deliver unique financial services to nonprofit organizations.

“Ken is a strong business leader with extensive experience in financial services, and we are excited to have him join our team,” PCUA President & CEO Patrick Conway said. “His experience and expertise will be a great asset for us and our members. We look forward to the positive impact he will make for our service corporation, PCUA Solutions, and helping it thrive.”

Dyer has also held the positions of asset/liability management and investments vice president, risk management director, consulting principal, financial analyst, and vice president of community banking. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees from Northeastern University in Boston. He and his wife Cheryl now live in the Harrisburg area, after relocating from New England.
