People’s Credit Union realigns marketing department with new heads of marketing communications and community development

MIDDLETOWN, RI (July 27, 2023) — People’s Credit Union announces a realignment of the Marketing Department with the creation of two new roles, Head of Marketing Communications and Head of Community Development. Jessica Holden, a seven-year veteran of the Marketing Department, will now be the Head of Marketing Communications.

Holden’s responsibilities will be developing the Credit Union’s communications for all marketing initiatives covering branding and product campaigns inclusive of media planning, website, social media content, and member communications.

With over twenty years at the Credit Union, Courtney Hunter has been appointed the new Head of Community Development. Hunter’s responsibilities will include cultivating and identifying opportunities with civic, nonprofit, and community organizations while also administering charitable donations and leading the Credit Union’s Community Involvement Program. Both Holden and Hunter will report to the Head of Member Delivery and Marketing for the Credit Union.

“As the worlds of marketing communications and community development rapidly change and evolve, People’s believed it was best to have two focused individuals lead these areas,” stated Bill DeWitt, Head of Member Delivery and Marketing for People’s Credit Union. “In Jess and Courtney, we have the perfect solution with each having already made significant contributions to the Credit Union. I am confident that they are the right people to lead these respective disciplines as the Credit Union moves into its second century,” he added.
