Perkins joins STCU board
SPOKANE, WA (April 25, 2019) — The STCU Board of Directors has a new member: Jeff Perkins, a Boise State University graduate and operations manager for Post Falls-based Triple E Technologies.
STCU is a credit union based in Liberty Lake, Washington. The board named Perkins to replace Nick Leute, who resigned from his board position after moving out of the area.
Perkins previously served on an STCU board advisory committee. As a longtime volunteer with youth programs and business groups, he said he was drawn to the credit union because of its strong local presence.
“At STCU, they’re committed to the members’ financial well-being ― to making people’s lives better ― and to serving as a positive presence in the communities where members live,” Perkins said. “It’s a privilege to play a part in that.”
As a member-owned, cooperative financial institution, STCU is governed by a board chosen by members in annual elections. The board oversees the credit union’s president/CEO and sets policy and strategic direction.
