Piedmont Advantage Credit Union Plans Free Gas Give Away, Loan Promotions to Benefit Local Charities
WINSTON-SALEM, NC (June 24, 2013) Piedmont Advantage Credit Union will be hosting an event at their Wilmington branch with a full day of events on Friday June 28th.
“Though we have been here since December, this is an opportunity for us to formally introduce our credit union to Wilmington and invite them in to meet us” said Judy Tharp, President and CEO of Piedmont Advantage Credit Union.
The day will begin at 8am with a Free Gas Giveaway, offering the first 100 people that visit the branch that morning and ask about the promotion a $20 gas card good at any Wilco Hess gas station. “With July Fourth travel just days away, a few extra dollars towards gas will go a long way for many holiday travelers” Tharp said.
Other events include loan promotions designed to give back to two area organizations. “For every auto loan we do during the designated times throughout the day, we’ll donate a percentage to the two designated charities” Tharp said. Members will also receive 60 days with no payments on new or refinanced auto loans throughout the day.
“This is an opportunity not only for people to save money on their auto loan, but to support local organizations in the process” Tharp said.
