WOODBURY, MN (October 14, 2021) — October is Cybersecurity awareness month and Ideal Credit Union is encouraging business members and consumers to take time to protect against fraud. Cyber attacks are a growing concern as workplaces and homes increasingly rely on technology and connected devices.
Ideal Credit Union is committed to building awareness with how to spot fraud and educate about the effective ways to protect businesses and consumers. Cybercriminals often attack by asking for your personal information over email, by phone call or by text. Hackers are also attacking businesses, hospital systems and other organizations with ransomware attacks that shut down critical systems until a ransom is paid.
