Record crowd for annual PVFCU neighborhood connection

HARRISONBURG, VA (May 19, 2014) — More than 1200 members came out to “get the scoop” at the Annual Park View Federal Credit Union (PVFCU) Neighborhood Connection on May 1.  Members enjoyed a complimentary dinner that included a make-your-own ice cream sundae bar.  Close to 800 members attended one of the 4 shows that included a Ted & Co. TheatreWorks performance of short skits, including one created uniquely for PVFCU. Before the show, John Beiler, CEO, and Larion Hostetler, Board of Directors Chair, gave a brief report on highlights from PVFCU in the last year and information about new board members elected.  The fair trade gifts for kids and adults were appreciated and the kids loved the Noah’s Ark bouncy house, face painting, and balloons.

One member shared, “I couldn’t have asked for a better evening of fun and enjoyment and talk of what was happening at PVFCU. This is the kind of event that makes me glad to be a member.”
