Michelle Brands-Giesea has been hired as the project management manager for Redwood Credit Union (RCU). In her new role, she will lead the project management team in overseeing the credit union’s project portfolio—including new product launches, service enhancements, and other enterprise projects—and ensuring project integration with RCU’s strategies and organizational initiatives.
Prior to joining RCU, Brands-Giesea worked for CamelBak for 12 years as a sourcing manager, overseeing service and product sourcing strategy to support the company’s operations and productivity.
“As a credit union, we return earnings to Members through better rates, low or no fees, and expanded services,” says Kimberly Williams, senior vice president of strategy, projects, and corporate real estate. “In Michelle, we have a highly experienced professional who will help us effectively run projects and boost productivity, so we can return even more benefits to our members.”
Brands-Giesea has a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from UCLA. She also has a Master of Science degree in supply chain management from the University of San Diego.
