Redwood Credit Union welcomes new Communications and Public Relations Manager
Tracy Weitzenberg joins RCU to lead growing communications team
SANTA ROSA, CA (March 23, 2018) — Redwood Credit Union (RCU) welcomes Tracy Weitzenberg as Manager of the Communications & Public Relations (PR) Department. Weitzenberg embodies RCU’s belief that strong communications are essential to providing superior service. She will lead a growing communications team charged with sharing information and news about the credit union and its subsidiary RCU Services Group in a timely and transparent way through member and community communications, public relations and social media.
Weitzenberg will work closely with the organization’s Senior Leadership Team, Senior Staff, and employees, as well as external partners including media, press, and consultants. She will act as a brand ambassador and participate on key internal and external boards, committees, and groups.

Prior to joining RCU, Weitzenberg was vice president of public policy for the Santa Rosa Metro Chamber of Commerce. She previously served as development and membership coordinator for the Charles M. Schulz Museum & Research Center. She’s a board member of the Leadership Santa Rosa Alumni Association and former president of Schools Plus, and she’s an active participant of the Sonoma County Alliance.
Weitzenberg is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Public Relations. She grew up in the North Bay, is a proud mother or two boys and is an active contributor to our community.
