Registration open for ACUMA Annual Conference

Gathering of mortgage lenders planned for Sept. 22-25 in Washington, D.C. area

MIDDLETON, WI (June 4, 2019) — Registration has opened for this fall’s ACUMA Annual Conference to be held September 22-25 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center on the banks of the Potomac River in suburban Washington, D.C.

“With the mortgage business changing so rapidly, our world is being turned upside down,” notes ACUMA President Bob Dorsa. “If disruption has you worried—and it should—this conference can help you understand it and get ahead of it.”

The conference presented by ACUMA (the American Credit Union Mortgage Association), brings together about 500 of the top credit-union mortgage lenders. This year’s theme, “Opening the Door to Opportunity,” features an expanded agenda and a Sunday afternoon Pre-Conference Workshop.

“Our format offers more educational and networking opportunities than ever,” says Dorsa. “The agenda features industry experts from J.D. Power, STRATMOR Group and Cornerstone Advisors.”

Also planned are the popular “talk shows” in which participants share their best practices on a specific and pressing topic. The demo-rich Digital Mortgage Showcase returns with the latest industry advances on display, as well.

Conference registration is available online at ACUMA’s website (https://acuma.org/acuma-2019-annual-conference/). Early-bird pricing through June offers the best rates on the conference and hotel rooms for members. The website also has details on the agenda, speakers and more.
