Reliant Credit Union announces organizational changes

Reliant Credit Union is pleased to announce organizational changes to expand focus on the member and employee experience and ensure exceptional service for every member.

“As Reliant grows, it is important to continually anticipate and prepare for how members will utilize the credit union in the future,” said Pamela Heald, President & CEO.  “This organizational change allows us to continue providing an exceptional member experience by aligning areas that support convenience services for our members.”

The role of Vice President of Human Resources, held by Crissy Bergmann, has been retitled to Vice President of Employee Experience. Ms. Bergmann will continue Reliant’s commitment to being an employer of choice.

The credit union’s current Chief Brand Officer, Amy Calabrese, has assumed the role of Chief Experience Officer. In this role, Ms. Calabrese’s primary responsibility is to focus on the experience of Reliant’s employees and members.

Reliant’s current Chief Operating Officer, Dawn Edwards, will be retiring in January 2022, after 31 years with the credit union.  Ms. Edwards first joined Reliant in 1991 and has served the credit union in a variety of roles since that time.  She has been instrumental in many significant projects and changes in her time with Reliant.  Heather Chapman, Vice President of Project Management, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Chapman will focus on the conveniences offered to members and the implementation of projects supporting efficiency and innovation.

The role of Vice President of Brand Awareness, held by Cynthia Hamann, has been retitled to Vice President of Brand Experience. Ms. Hamann continues to focus on the credit union’s commitment to representing the best of Reliant to members and the community.

Reliant’s current Vice President of Member Services, Richard Sellwood, has assumed the role of Vice President of Branch Experience. In this role, Mr. Sellwood continues to oversee the experience, operation and production for all branch locations.

Paige Watkins, Executive Services Manager, has been promoted to Vice President of Convenience Services. Ms. Watkins now oversees the member support areas, including the member service center and e-branch, that offer convenience services, as well as leading future convenience service offerings.

Brenda Keller, Accounting Manager, has transitioned to Project Manager to provide an additional resource on projects related to accounting and finance functions.

Tammi MacKerchar, formerly Branch Operations Manager, has assumed the role of Member Support Manager. Ms. MacKerchar will focus on further development of the credit union’s e-branch, as well as working to expand member support provided by the operations department.
