Robins Federal Credit Union provides meals for Middle Georgia Community Food Bank

MACON, GA (November 18, 2013) — Robins Federal Credit Union recently contributed to the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank by making a $1,000 food donation as well as a $1,000 monetary donation.

Approximately 550 pounds of items including dry foods and meat were delivered to the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank. The Middle Georgia Community Food Bank estimates that for every $1 donated, they can provide 8 meals. With this estimate Robins Federal’s donation will provide 16,000 meals to people in the 24 counties that The Middle Georgia Community Food Bank serves.
