Robins Financial Credit Union announces manager, employee and branch of the year

WARNER ROBINS, GA (March 26, 2021) —

Each year, Robins Financial Credit Union selects employees that represent the best of the best in two categories – Manager of the Year and Employee of the Year. Employees are selected by management based on their outstanding work performance and written recommendations from their peers. In addition, Robins Financial management selects a branch of the year based on performance and the contribution the branch makes to the community and to the credit union over all.

The winners chosen for 2020 were as follows:

Betsy Baugham – Manager of the Human Resources department, has been chosen as the 2020 Manager of the Year. Betsy has been employed for 3 ½ years. She led the HR efforts related to the COVID-19 response throughout the year. She oversaw the implementation of a new Human Resources system as well as recruited for several specialized positions. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and has her Senior Professional of Human Resources certification. She enjoys oil painting and gardening and is looking forward to welcoming a new grandchild in a few months.

Shannon Brantley – Member Service Representative for the Dublin branch, has been chosen as the 2020 Employee of the Year. Shannon has been with us for 3 ½ years. She is a Top Branch Producer at $6.2 million in loans, opened 418 new account and processed 1,500 teller transactions. She was able to accomplish all of this while assisting with training 2 new MSRs. She is dedicated to always doing what is needed with a great attitude and smile on her face. She has a 2 year old daughter that keeps her busy and enjoys going antique shopping, traveling and is a big UGA fan.

Base Branch – The Base Branch led by manager, Kim Pierce, has been chosen as the 2020 Branch of the Year. This branch was a huge help to the organization during the pandemic. Several staff members were redeployed to assist other branches or departments all while maintaining excellent member service.

They stepped in to lend support to their fellow team members, allowing us to shift resources in order to meet the needs of our members during what has been a challenging time for us all.”
