Royal Credit Union helps families in need through annual “Giving Never Melts Away” toy drive
EAU CLAIRE, WI (December 23, 2021) — Royal Credit Union’s (Royal) 24 offices located in western Wisconsin and the Twin-Cities metro area worked together to bring in 750 toys and $1,000 in monetary donations to benefit families in need this holiday season during its Annual “Giving Never Melts Away” toy drive. Partnering with The Salvation Army, the credit union collected new and unwrapped toys from November 1 – November 30. Monetary donations could also be made online or in-person at any Royal location. After collection by the offices, The Salvation Army distributed the toys to children of families in need within the communities Royal Credit Union serves.
Royal ’s core ideology, “To make a positive impact in the lives we touch,” is carried out by the continued annual partnership with The Salvation Army and the joy that is brought to children and their families by receiving the toy donations. The campaign aims to lessen the financial strain of gift giving during the holiday season and bring cheer to children of every age. The number of toys donated increases yearly, and this campaign has turned into an important annual tradition for Royal as it shares the continued message that Giving Never Melts Away.
